PlixoPay Fee Schedule

This Fee Schedule forms part of the PlixoPay Terms of Service. It sets out the PlixoPay service fee charged when you complete a settlement using PlixoPay's in-platform settlement functionality — Regular Event settlements, Living Expenses period settlements, and Flash payments.
Which rate applies
The PlixoPay service fee is calculated on one of two rate tables ("rails"), determined automatically by PlixoPay from the issuing country of the card or payment method you use to pay — never chosen or entered by you:
- EU/EEA rail — applies when your card or payment method was issued in the European Union or European Economic Area.
- International rail — applies when your card or payment method was issued outside the EU/EEA. If the issuing country cannot be determined (for example, with some digital wallet payments), the EU/EEA rail is used.
In-platform settlement fee — EU/EEA rail

For the portion of a settlement amount up to and including €200.00:
Service fee = (3.55% × settlement amount) + €0.35
For the portion of a settlement amount above €200.00, that excess portion is charged the percentage component only, with no additional fixed component:
Service fee = (3.55% × €200.00) + €0.35 + (3.30% × (settlement amount − €200.00))
Which is equivalent to:
Service fee = €7.45 + (3.30% × (settlement amount − €200.00))
In-platform settlement fee — international rail

For the portion of a settlement amount up to and including €200.00:
Service fee = (4.25% × settlement amount) + €0.35
For the portion of a settlement amount above €200.00, that excess portion is charged the percentage component only, with no additional fixed component:
Service fee = (4.25% × €200.00) + €0.35 + (3.60% × (settlement amount − €200.00))
Which is equivalent to:
Service fee = €8.85 + (3.60% × (settlement amount − €200.00))
Rounding
Each percentage component is calculated and rounded independently to the nearest whole euro cent (standard rounding: exact halves round up), before being added to the fixed component. Where a settlement amount is above the threshold, the below-threshold portion and the above-threshold portion are each rounded independently as shown above, then summed. The fixed component of €0.35 is always a whole number of cents and is never itself rounded.
How this applies across PlixoPay
- The same calculation method described above applies identically to Regular Events, Living Expenses, and Flash — there is no separate pricing for any one of the three.
- The same calculation method applies to all supported in-platform payment methods (card and digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay); PlixoPay does not charge different rates for different in-platform payment methods.
- No PlixoPay service fee applies when a settlement is completed outside PlixoPay and merely recorded as paid in cash — PlixoPay does not process that payment.
- The applicable PlixoPay service fee and the total amount payable are always displayed to you before you authorise each payment. Nothing is added after authorisation.
- All amounts shown to consumers include applicable taxes where required by law.
Changes to this Fee Schedule
When PlixoPay's fee structure changes, this page is updated with a new effective date and fee version, as described in Section 5 of the Terms of Service. Settlements you completed under a previous fee version keep the fee that applied at the time — fee changes are never applied retroactively to past transactions.
